Autumn Weekends

 

Autumn is my absolute favourite season of the year, I'm not a big lover of Summer at all. There just something about the crunching of the leaves and the colours of autumn that I enjoy so much.

 

I just love being able to have a duvet day on a weekend without an excuse, walking Olly as he goes so crazy for all the leaves and chases them around the fields ... and probably one of my favourite things about Autumn is caramel hot chocolates from Starbucks.. Yum!

Half Term Cocktails

Life as a teacher is fun, but tiring! Whenever half term comes around it's so lovely to be able to forget about all the lesson plans, assessments and schemes of work for a week! It's even lovelier to be able to catch up with my girls! Last Wednesday, we headed out to Sheffield for cocktails and a catch up. First stop - Browns! I love this little bar just a short distance from the train station, although it gets really busy, it definitely makes some of the best cocktails Sheffield have to offer. On Saturdays (I think!) there's a pianist playing the grand piano which is so lovely when you call in for a cocktail on a shopping trip. Definitely one of my favourite places to spend an afternoon.
